Tasha Cobbs Leonard is embracing the “can do” attitude. The singer has a bevy of ventures underway and she’s giving all of the glory to God during her season of new.

Just last weekend, Cobbs Leonard celebrated the one year anniversary of her sneaker store The Athlete’s Foot where she’s the first female franchisee in company history. She’s a self-proclaimed sneakerhead who opened up the store in her hometown of Greenville, SC to give back to the community by elevating the local fashion and sneaker culture industry.

To honor the one year anniversary, Cobbs Leonard supported her hometown by doing a back to school giveaway at her store. She gave away free backpacks, offered an in-store sale on merchandise, provided bounce houses and food trucks for enjoyment.

The entrepreneurial spirit is alive and well in her as she also is prepping the release of her new  book—the “Do It Anyway Devotional” which promises the reader a bolder faith in 60 days.

“It’s a guide to the breakthrough already waiting for you,” she said in an Instagram post about the book. “There are 60 empowering reflections with prayers and scripture verses to help you move ahead in your life with peace and purpose. And, day by day, you’ll embrace the power of a confident faith as you come to Jesus’ feet, knowing that whatever challenges you face, He will provide all you need to do it anyway.”

The book will be released on October 22 of this year and can be pre-ordered now from your favorite retailer.

Also this fall, Cobbs Leonard is embarking on the road with Maverick City Music. The Good News tour kicks off in Houston, TX on October 3 and wraps up in Newark, NJ on November 26. She spoke about the tour on Instagram saying anyone who comes to a show will encounter God on a personal level.

“I believe the good news, when you speak of the word of God, it is alive and meets you where you are,” she said. “So each person, though there will be thousands in the room, I believe they will have a personal encounter.”

You can snag tickets to the Maverick City Music tour with Cobbs Leonard by heading to her website.
