What’s better than one radio legend? Two! Georgia Radio Hall of Fame recipient Ryan “The Voice of Atlanta” Cameron remembers his dear friend and former co-host, Wanda Smith.
Smith’s passing was announced on Saturday, October 12, 2024.

Certain publications have credited a particular morning show for Wanda’s start in radio, but her radio career was actually established years prior to joining a morning show. The former radio producer (now radio program director) who met Wanda at a comedy club, introduced her to radio and first discovered her as an on-air talent, Derek Harper, gives his exclusive take.
