Six Dead After Helicopter Crashes in Hudson River Near Jersey City

A tragedy unfolded on Thursday afternoon when a Bell 206 helicopter carrying a family of tourists and a pilot crashed into the Hudson River near Jersey City, leaving all six occupants dead. The incident occurred around 3:15 PM, with eyewitness accounts describing the aircraft breaking apart mid-air before plunging into the water near the Holland Tunnel.

The passengers included five Spanish tourists, consisting of two adults and three children, along with the pilot.
