However, this year we got something a bit more special: Colby Colb helped to moderate a live conversation with GOATed music exec, Larry Jackson. From his work in making stars out of Ruben Studdard and now-EGOT Jennifer Hudson during their American Idol beginnings to his work in playing a pivotal role at J Records and also helping to make Apple Music pop, it goes without saying that he’s a man with many gems.
Now he’s using his expertise of the business to launch a new era of music stars through Gamma. Not exactly a record label but with equal if not more power of the Billboard charts at the moment, Jackson joined us for a meeting of the minds that we’re very happy to share with the masses.
