The Veuve Clicquot Polo Classic returned to LA on Saturday, October 5 and it was everything. A true “celebration of style, sport, and spectacle,” this event embodied luxury at every turn, where everyone came to slay.
Held at Will Rogers State Park, the event is one swankiest gatherings of the year. Celebs and trendsetters sipped champagne, toasted the good life, and served lewks that will be talked about for weeks.

The energy was just right. Guests lounged on plush couches, surrounded by pillows, greenery, and luxe details. Champagne bottles were stacked artfully everywhere, as was matching glassware.
Imagine sipping on bubbly from Veuve Clicquot’s latest champagne, Veuve Clicquot Rich Rose, while enjoying bites from LA’s hottest food trucks. You could even opt for an exclusive Garden Party experience. Either way, it was champagne, good times, and chic vibes.
Guests showed up and showed out in their polo best. They wore everything from coordinated sets and bold prints to bright colors, and demure details.
Think Kentucky Derby meets colorful summer realness and Hollywood glam. Attendees accessorized their looks with wide-brim hats, mini handbags, straw totes, and statement sunglasses. It was giving “effortlessly fabulous,” and we couldn’t get enough.
Of course, the celeb style was top-tier. Cameras couldn’t stop clicking as Abbott Elementary stars Sheryl Lee Ralph, Quinta Brunson, and Janelle James graced the event in their weekend’s finest. Sheryl served major chocolate goddess vibes in a bodycon dress, while Janelle gave us floral realness. Quinta stunned in a brown and white plaid two-piece set that gave playful, modern Clueless vibes.
But the star power didn’t stop there.

Black Hollywood “it girls” Storm Reid and Jurnee Smollett were spotted twirling around the event in their signature fabulousness. Storm was on trend and in the moment. The young actress wore a black and cream dropped-hem dress with a slight bubble skirt.
Jurnee, on the other hand, screamed grown and sexy. She served body-ody-ody in an off-the-shoulder black midi-length dress that had everyone turning heads.
Every year, the Veuve Clicquot Polo Classic gives us a reason to say, “Ooh la la!” It’s not just about the champagne or the sport—but the fashion and style that never disappoints.
