Noah Lyles is officially off the market! The Team USA track star just popped the question to his runner girlfriend, Junelle Bromfield, and it was epic. Noah is known for his speed on the track, but he clearly took his time when planning the perfect proposal.
We’re not crying – you’re crying!
In a video shared on social media on October 13, the fastest man in the world set up an unforgettable moment for his Jamaican Olympian fiancée. The proposal was a scene straight out of a romance movie, complete with larger-than-life pictures of Junelle displayed throughout the open space, rose petals scattered everywhere, and soft mood lighting that set the tone for the big question.
Noah got down on one knee, holding Junelle’s hand in front of a huge heart sign that said, “Will you marry me?” Junelle stunned in a white sequin dress with braids, while Noah rocked a sleek black suit and locs.
The video’s caption said, “To My Future Wife, I Will Love You Forever.”
Junelle shared her own reel, showing off her new bling and celebrating with friends.
Friends and family also joined the lovefest. The couple’s IG shows a private party, dinner, and a night out at the club. It’s clear they have a strong circle around them, and they go together real bad.
Their engagement comes after a whirlwind 2024 Paris Olympics. Junelle repped Jamaica while Noah became the fastest man in the world for Team USA. And let’s not forget, Noah did all this while recovering from COVID—he even collapsed on the track after a relay. Talk about dedication.
Noah and Junelle started dating in 2022, but they’ve known each other for over eight years. They train together, joke around, slay together, and keep it real with each other.
Back in August 2023, Junelle posted a sweet anniversary message: “Cheers to 7 years of friendship, 6 months of dating, 1 year of being your partner, and to forever loving you.”
This track-star duo is winning both on and off the field, and we can’t wait to see what’s next! As we celebrate the couple’s love story, see some of our favorite moments from Noah and Junelle below.
Congratulations to both!
