Sad news to share: Chauncy Glover, former anchor for Houston’s ABC13 News, has passed away. He was 39 years old. Glover’s passing was confirmed by his family and announced Tuesday (Nov. 5) by KCAL-CBS in Los Angeles. A cause of death has not been announced.
A three-time Emmy Award winning journalist, Glover moved to Los Angeles in 2023 where he worked at KCAL as a news anchor. Those of us in H-Town remember him from his 8 years with ABC13, and he will be sorely missed. Our thoughts and prayers are with his close circle at this time.
A statement from his family:
“We, Sherry and Robert Glover, along with Chauncy’s beloved family, are devastated by the unimaginable loss of our beloved Chauncy. He was more than a son and brother — he was a beacon of light in our lives and a true hero to his community.”
