Tamar Braxton and her mother, Evelyn Braxton are launching a new cooking show, Cooking Sessions with Tamar and Ms. E, debuting on Cleo TV and recently sat down with Incognito to talk about their passion for food, family, and other upcoming projects—and, as expected, the conversation was as spicy as their recipes.
Described as a heartfelt program centered around bonding over food, Cooking Sessions showcases simple, accessible recipes that anyone can recreate. While the dishes take center stage, the true essence of the show is the meaningful conversations that happen while cooking—just like in their own family kitchen.
For Tamar, the show is about more than just food; it’s about celebrating togetherness. “The kitchen has always been a healing space for our family,” she shared. “We have conversations, we laugh, and we bond. This show isn’t just for us—it’s about inspiring other families to do the same.”

Tamar also shared that the show has strengthened her relationship with her mother, “beyond mother and daughter, as women,” she said. “We’re working together, talking, and creating memories. It’s been healing, not just for us, but we hope it’ll inspire other families to come together too.”
Beyond the show, Tamar is busier than ever. She’s heading back on tour, gearing up for a new album release around April 17th, and writing a book focused on mental health awareness. “This is the most vulnerable I’ve been in my music. The album feels like a reflection of where I am now,” she shared.
